Oprah: A Biography

This is the unofficial biography written by Kitty Kelley and released in 2010. Like most of her other biographies this one digs up tidbits from Oprah’s former boyfriends, coworkers and relatives. She shares the details of people who have passed through Oprah’s life and are now disenchanted with her. The book has only gotten moderate reviews but true blue Oprah fan’s will still want to read it. Hardcover $20, Kindle $8.

Gift Number Five (The best one of all)

Would Oprah want you to buy these for her fans? No. Oprah would prefer you spent the $20 on a bag of groceries, books or a toy. She would want you to take and set those things on a doorstep in a poor neighborhood in your town, ring the doorbell and leave before they answer. Give a card to your friend or relative at Christmas and tell them what you bought and what you did with it. It will be the most memorable and meaningful gift they get this Christmas.
