Black Friday Best Sales Deals on Desktop Computers

Although many Black Friday shoppers will be on the lookout for smartphones, iPads, and laptops, there are those who will opt for a more substantial piece of computing machinery like a desktop. For those shoppers, major retailers also have desktop bargains in store for the busiest physical shopping day of the year (Cyber Monday hauls in the most financially). Luckily for shoppers braving the throngs at WalMart and Best Buy on Black Friday, there have been others doing research to make searching for the best deals a little easier.

Gizmodo compiles a daily list of electronic gadgetry (which includes everything from cell phones to desktop computers and peripherals) deals and they have transformed it into the “Black Friday Cheat Sheet” for the annual sales event. Lifehacker is another site that has put together a list of good deals to be had. MSNBC’s “Technolog” has seen fit to condense much of the Internet’s best deals listings and present a sort of “best of the best” deals list.

Depending, of course, on the individual’s wants and tastes, the lists are a great place to start one’s research for the perfect desktop computer. In fact, one might not have to look further.

Some of the best deals on desktop computers can be found at:

WalMart: 18.5-in. HP AMD dual-core 3GB DDR3 500GB HD desktop for $298 (Normally $429)

Best Buy: 20-in. HP 320-1034 AMD dual-core 4GB DDR3 1TB HDD all-in-one desktop for $400 (Normally $700)

Best Buy: HP AMD Quad Core Processor Desktop with 20″ HD LED Monitor and HP DJ3000 Printer for $500 (Normally $740)

Costco: 24-in. Dell XPS 8300 Core i7 16GB RAM 1.5TB HDD desktop for $1000 (Normally $1500)

BJs: Dell XPS 8300 Intel Core i7 12GB DDR3 1.5TB HDD Desktop for $750 (Normally $1109)

Staples: 24-in. Sony Intel Core i3 4GB RAM 1TB HDD touch-screen desktop for $900 (Normally $1079)

Remember to double-check Black Friday sales prices and item availability (especially electronics items such as destop computers, as they are usually items of extremely limited quantity) with respective retailers. Although some stores have a price match guarantee, such as WalMart, they generally do not honor Internet ads and sales prices that are the result of typos and/or misprints.
