Adjusting Your Desktop Display Orientation

Changing your display’s orientation is actually quite simple and may prove useful if you are dealing with large pieces of software such as Sony Vegas, Adobe After Effects, Mixcraft, ect.. To flip your display follow the steps below:
Right-Click on your desktop background If you see section mentioning ‘Visual Display’ or ‘Graphics’, proceed to that and there should be a ‘Flip Display’ option. If not, continue to the next step; Click on ‘Screen Resolution’ Here it will list all of your displays which are currently connected to your computer and which are active Choose the display you would like to adjust by clicking on the virtual image of it, or by selecting it in the ‘Display:’ option Go to the settings called ‘Orientation’ By default, it should be set as ‘Landscape’ To flip your display, choose the desired setting (a Portrait view is a vertical view, whereas a Landscape is horizontal. If you have your monitor in a vertical position, you will be selecting Portrait) Once you have chosen the desired setting, hit ‘Apply’ Once the settings have been applied and is what you desired, simply click ‘Keep Changes’, if not, revert back to the old settings If the new orientation was backwards for you, select the setting marked as ‘(flipped)’ and try again Your displays should now be set in the desired orientation. To fine-tune/calibrate your desktop displays, continue to my next tutorial “Adjusting your Desktop Display Position”.
