Triple H and CM Punk was the main event at Night Of Champions and the match was awesome. This match was definitely the best match of the evening, and that says a lot because there were other matches that were great too, such as Henry VS Orton and Cena VS Del Rio. Punk proved once again that he has what it takes to headline a PPV. Even though Punk put up one heck of a fight, he did not end up defeating Triple H.
I predicted that Nash was going to interrupt the match and sure enough he did. Nash came down to the ring and attacked both Punk and Triple H. Both Triple H and Punk looked as if they were going to win at one point but both men suffered attacks. Nash was not the only one to interrupt the match, because R Truth and The Miz made their way down to the ring before Nash even showed up. Miz and Truth attacked Punk and Triple H. The EVP John Laurinaitis also came down to the ring when the ref got knocked out. Another ref came down to the ring but the EVP did not send him into the ring when Triple H had Punk pinned. He did send the ref in once Punk pinned Triple H though. The EVP then sent a text message and that was when Nash came down to the ring.
Before Nash, Miz and Truth interrupted, the match was going back and forth and it looked as if Punk was going to win one minute and then Triple H another minute. This was a pretty tough match to predict but I actually thought Punk was going to win. However, it was Triple H who ended up pinning Punk for the three count.
I think that Triple H and Punk will team up together on Monday Night Raw and they will face Truth and The Miz. Triple H will also confront the EVP and I believe that Punk will end up facing Nash at next month’s PPV. Who knows what will happen next because there is a lot of things that the WWE can do with this angle. I think that the WWE is really doing something right with this whole Punk, Nash and Triple H angle. Hopefully the WWE will not mess this up anytime soon.
