Week 10 RB Rankings will be updated throughout the week

Week 10 — QB Rankings — RB Rankings — WR Rankings — TE Rankings — D Rankings — Waiver Pickups — Picks & Predictions — Player Injury Updates

1. LeSean McCoy – Phi = Ari —– This matchup is just too potent to not give McCoy the #1 RB ranking this week. Anything along the lines of 100-150 total yards and 1-2 touchdowns is easily within reach for McCoy in this game.

2. Arian Foster – Hou = @TB —– Yes the emergence of Ben Tate has limited Foster’s total touches per game, but the end result is a fresher and much healthier Arian Foster from week to week. Expect 100-150 total yards and 1 touchdown in this game.

3. Ray Rice – Bal = @Sea —– The Seahawks defense has not been great against the run in recent weeks, and Rice should get plenty of touches. Expect 100-150 total yards, and a touchdown is definitely within reach as well.

4. Adrian Peterson – Min = @GB —– Not a great matchup on paper for Peterson against a solid Packers run defense this week, but Peterson did rack up 175 rushing yards and 1 touchdown against the Packers in their first matchup just three weeks ago. The potential is always there with Peterson, and this week is no different.

5. Matt Forte – Chi = Det —– Tough matchup for the Bears offense this week, but Forte did tally 116 rushing yards and 35 receiving yards against the Lions in their week 5 matchup earlier this year.

6. Fred Jackson – Buf = @Dal —– Jackson and the Bills offense faced a tough New York Jets defense last week, but Jackson was his usual self as he was still able to tally 82 rushing yards and 38 receiving yards in that game. Expecting anything between 100-150 total yards is always a good bet for Jackson.

7. Michael Turner – Atl = NO —– Always a goal line touchdown threat, Turner should be looking at stats in the range of 80 rushing yards and 1 touchdown in this game.

8. Maurice Jones-Drew – Jac = @Ind —– Fresh off the bye week and facing a terrible Colts defense, Jones-Drew could easily be a top 5 scoring fantasy football RB this week. Loads of potential for a boom game in the range of 100-150 total yards and 1-2 touchdowns.

9. Steven Jackson – StL = @Cle —– Jackson has been on a roll lately, and the Browns just gave up over 100 rushing yards to both Arian Foster and Ben Tate in last weeks game. Jackson should have no problem topping the 100 rushing yard mark in this game, and a touchdown is definitely within reach as well.

10. DeMarco Murray – Dal = Buf —– I’m a believer. Murray easily has the potential to rack up another 100 rushing yards in this game, and a touchdown is easily within reach as well.

11. Willis McGahee – Den = @KC —– After missing just one week with a broken hand, McGahee was determined to play in last weeks game, and fantasy football teams could not have been happier as McGahee quickly racked up 163 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns on just 20 carries. Right now it looks like if anyone in Denver benefits from Tim Tebow at QB, it is McGahee.

12. Frank Gore – SF = NYG —– Tough matchup against a hot Giants defense this week, but Gore is the entire offense in San Francisco so expect him to rack up 20-30 touches for 100 yards in this game.

13. Rashard Mendenhall – Pit = @Cin —– The Bengals are pretty solid against the run, but I would still expect Mendenhall to rack up 20 carries for at least 80 rushing yards, and a touchdown is definitely within reach.

14. Darren Sproles – NO = @Atl —– A total yardage monster, Sproles is always a good bet to rack up 100 total yards no matter who the opponent is each week.

15. Michael Bush – Oak = @SD —– With Darren McFadden not playing this week, Bush should see at least 20 touches in this game, and 100 rushing yards and 1 touchdown is definitely within reach. Bush is a solid RB2 play and excellent flex starter in all fantasy football leagues this week.

16. Roy Helu – Was = @Mia —– 30% —– After weeks of premature Helu hype, the real Helu has finally emerged after his 146 total yard performance in week 9. With Mike Shanahan officially naming Helu the starting RB, there is no reason to believe that Helu will not keep the starting job for the remainder of the season. Offering excellent receiving ability, Helu should easily see at least 20 touches per game from now on, and anything in the range of 100-150 total yards is likely this week as well. Touchdown potential is also in the mix.

17. Chris Johnson – Ten = @Car —– Johnson finally showed signs of life in last weeks game, and a matchup against a fairly weak Carolina Panthers defense could have Johnson eying the 100 total yard mark in this game. And as always, there is plenty of upside as well.

18. Shonn Greene – NYJ = NE —– Greene has been an average back all season so far, and this week will likely be no different. Look for him to rack up 15-20 carries and 75 rushing yards, with a touchdown possible as well.

19. Jackie Battle – KC = Den —– 67% —– Yes Battle he has not put up the huge numbers that he did in his breakout game a couple of weeks ago, but there is no denying the fact that Battle is the main feature back now in Kansas City. A matchup against a weak Denver Broncos run defense this week could easily have Battle racking up stats in the range of 75-100 rushing yards and 1 touchdown. Still available in over 30% of 10 team leagues, Battle is one starting RB that fantasy teams should not be sleeping on anymore.

20. Mike Tolbert – SD = Oak —– Great matchup for whoever gets the majority of the carries in the Chargers backfield this week. However I expect a 50-50 timeshare between Tolbert and Ryan Mathews, which will likely mean both of these RBs fantasy values should be limited this week.

21. Ryan Mathews – SD = Oak —– injury ? —– Mathews will likely play, but I would expect a 50-50 share with Mike Tolbert, and therefore do not expect anything but average stats from Mathews in his return this week.

22. Jonathan Stewart – Car = Ten —– Nice matchup for the Carolina Panthers offense this week, and Stewart is always a good bet to rack up a red zone touchdown. 50-80 rushing yards and 1 touchdown is very likely this week.

23. Darren McFadden – Oak = @SD —– injury ? unlikely to play – OUT – WILL NOT PLAY

24. LeGarrette Blount – TB = Hou

25. Beanie Wells – Ari = @Phi

26. DeAngelo Williams – Car = Ten

27. Cedric Benson – Cin = Pit

28. Marshawn Lynch – Sea = Bal

29. BenJarvus Green-Ellis – NE = @NYJ

30. Brandon Jacobs – NYG = @SF

31. Ben Tate – Hou = @TB —– 57% —– The ideal efficiency RB right now in the NFL, Tate had just 12 rushing attempts in last weeks game, but he still managed to tally 115 rushing yards and 1 touchdown. It makes sense for the Texans to continue giving Tate around 10 carries per game to keep Arian Foster fresh, and with a matchup against the Buccanneers in store for this week, Tate could be looking at numbers in the range of 50-75 rushing yards with a touchdown possible as well. At just 57% owned, Tate is a solid flex starting option this week.

32. Chris Ogbonnaya – Cle = StL —– 28% —– Ogbonnaya stunk up the place last week in his first start at RB for the Browns, but a matchup against the lowly St. Louis Rams run defense this week is awfully eye appealing. With Montario Hardesty and Peyton HIllis out with injuries, Ogbonnaya will once again get the start at RB for the Browns this week. With fantasy football teams likely down on Ogbonnaya after his forgettable performance last week, this is one time that you will want to ride him out and start him against an awful Rams defense.

33. Daniel Thomas – Mia = Was

34. James Starks – GB = Min

35. Maurice Morris – Det = @Chi

36. Reggie Bush – Mia = Was

37. Pierre Thomas – NO = @Atl

38. Donald Brown – Ind = Jac —– 6% —– I think it may be safe to say that Brown is slowly gaining some confidence, and the Colts coaching staff may be thinking the same thing in determining how many touches he gets. A matchup against a so-so Jaguars defense, along with the lingering Joseph Addai injury and fumble issue with Delone Carter, Brown may just be the Colts best RB option for fantasy football teams this week.

39. Marion Barber – Chi = Det

40. Javon Ringer – Ten = @Car —– 34% —– Chris Johnson finally showed up in last weeks game, and as you would expect, Ringer disappeared in the offense as his touches were limited. A matchup this week against the Panthers offers potential to whoever gets the touches in the Titans offense this week.

41. Delone Carter – Ind = Jac

42. Knowshon Moreno – Den = @KC

43. Ahmad Bradshaw – NYG = @SF —– injury ? unlikely to play

44. Peyton Hillis – Cle = StL —– injury ? unlikely to play – OUT – WILL NOT PLAY

45. Jahvid Best – Det = @Chi —– injury ? unlikely to play – OUT – WILL NOT PLAY

46. Joseph Addai – Ind = Jac —– injury ? unlikely to play

47. Mark Ingram – NO = @Atl —– injury ?

48. Felix Jones – Dal = Buf —– injury ? unlikely to play

49. Ryan Grant – GB = Min

50. Chris Ivory – NO = @Atl —– 1% —– So much for easing Ivory into the action, as the Saints fed Ivory the ball 15 times in last weeks game while he racked up a solid 67 rushing yards. With Mark Ingram still dealing with injury, Darren Sproles just a change of pace guy, and Pierre Thomas just hanging around, the surplus of options in the Saints backfield suddenly looks like Ivory’s primary job for the time being.

51. LaDainian Tomlinson – NYJ = NE —– 53% —– The Jets continue to show that they are serious about running the ball, and Tomlinson will continue to his handful of touches both rushing and receiving to make him worth a starting flex gamble in deep fantasy leagues this week.

52. Ryan Torain – Was = @Mia

53. Kendall Hunter – SF = NYG

54. Leon Washington – Sea = Bal

55. Stevan Ridley – NE = @NYJ

56. Dexter McCluster – KC = Den

57. CJ Spiller – Buf = @Dal

58. Danny Woodhead – NE = @NYJ

59. Thomas Jones – KC = Den

60. Isaac Redman – Pit = @Cin

61. Bernard Scott – Cin = Pit

62. Ronnie Brown – Phi = Ari

63. Carnell Williams – StL = @Cle

64. Kevin Smith – Det = @Chi

64. Deji Karim – Jac = @Ind

65. Joe McKnight – NYJ = NE

66. LaRod Stephens-Howling – Ari = @Phi

67. Jacquizz Rodgers – Atl = NO

68. John Kuhn – GB = Min

69. Keiland Williams – Det = @Chi

70. Ricky Williams – Bal = @Sea

71. Taiwan Jones – Oak = @SD

72. Jonathan Dwyer – Pit = @Cin

73. Jason Snelling – Atl = NO

74. Montario Hardesty – Cle = StL —– injury ? – OUT – WILL NOT PLAY

75. Lance Ball – Den = @KC

76. Kregg Lumpkin – TB = Hou

77. Steve Slaton – Mia = Was

78. Tashard Choice – Was = @Mia

79. Toby Gerhart – Min = @GB

80. Justin Forsett – Sea = Bal

81. Le’Ron McClain – KC = Den

82. Jerious Norwood – StL = @Cle

83. Dion Lewis – Phi = Ari

84. Johnny White – Buf = @Dal

85. Chester Taylor – Ari = @Phi
