Volunteer Opportunities in Southern Maine

There is no question in anyone’s mind that we are facing very challenging times. With unemployment on the rise and the prices of basic goods and services keeping pace, more and more people are lacking in basic needs that include food and a place to live. If you are among the more fortunate not to be directly impacted by the struggling economy, you most likely know someone who is. And at the very least, it’s getting harder all the time to stretch a dollar. Several excellent volunteer opportunities exist in the southern Maine area that might be just what you’re looking for if you would like to lend a hand, make a difference and, just maybe, brighten someone’s life in the process.
