Top 8 Free 3GS iPhone Apps

Last year I purchased an iPhone 3gs and tested out a lot of apps. Purchasing an iPhone was worth every penny. It’s like having a mini computer on the go.

My favorite iPhone apps:

Free Facebook App- I like the Facebook app that’s free because I can easily post my status update anywhere my cell phone service is available. I haven’t has too many issues with it crashing. On the app, I can see my Facebook friends and like pages. The apps nice see what my friends and favorite likes are chatting about on their page.

Free Twitter App- I like the free Twitter app to update what I’m doing. The app allows me to access several accounts on the same phone. It’s easier to use than logging onto Safari to access twitter. It’s easy to search your favorite twitters and reply to them, and retweet.

Crafty Gemini- This is a new app that I already love. I can view one of my favorite crafters in one place. One the app I can visit the Crafty Gemini blog, video tutorials, shop, Facebook page and twitter profile. My favorite function on the app is Ask CG, which allows you to ask Vanessa, the Crafty Gemini a question. Anyone who loves crafting would love this easy to access app.

Kindle- You can read books formatted for Kindle with this app. It offers night and day settings, different background colors, and the ability to highlight text. About once a week, you’ll find some Amazon titles available for free download for a short time.

MobileRSS- Subscribe to websites or blogs to view them online. App includes: standard read, unread, and starred options. Write notes about posts and view comments.

Dictionary.com- Find definitions without searching the web or picking up a dictionary. Each day dictionary.com has word of day, Spanish word of the day, question of the day and the hot word. The options to: hear word out loud, star your favorite words, and share definitions.

Evernote- This tool’s great for writers and business people. You can save images of websites, organize notebooks. It’s a great way to jot down notes while you’re on the run. The app reminds me of Microsoft Wordpad. It lets you organize files into folders and notebooks. Find notebooks easily by tagging them by categories. Sync app with your desktop to view files on computer.

Scrabble Challenge Edition- is a game similar to the game Boggle where you find words with an assortment of different versions. Use points to purchase different levels such as: vampire, street racing, poker, winter theme, city, caf© world, fishville, city, and fall.
