Tips and Tricks for a Full Day at Magic Kingdom

Since I have been to the Magic Kingdom more times than I could ever count, i thought I would share some tricks and tips to help you have the most fun and least amount of expense in a fun filled day at the Magic Kingdom.

Of course eat breakfast before you go and make sure you are at the gates when the park is ready to open. Don’t forget your snacks and water bottles from home too. Once you are in the Magic Kingdom it is time for you to utilize the Fast Pass; Fast pass allows you to use your admission ticket at each attraction and get a return time ticket from that specific ride to come back and by pass the wait line.

My recommendation is to head straight over to Frontier Land since two main attractions are there, Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain. Access the wait times and see which is longer, fast pass the longer line and then wait in the line for the other ride. After you have rode one ride your fast pass return time should be soon, virtually only waiting for one ride and riding two.

Next you should venture to Tomorrow Land and fast pass Space Mountain, this is usually the longest wait time in the park. While waiting for your return time there you can fit in other rides like Stitch, Monsters Inc, and the Race Track.

When you have conquered Tomorrow Land it is time to head over to Fantasy Land. Again see which ride has the longest wait time and fast pass it. There are plenty of rides and attractions in Fantasy Land to do while you are waiting for your return time, even the Haunted Mansion is close enough to fit in without going too far out of Fantasy Land.

During your visit remember to stick to your snacks and fill up your water bottles with the water fountains that are all over the Magic Kingdom. A few cheap treats are at the snack stand located next to the Hall of Presidents or always a Mickey ice cream bar.

While I know I didn’t list every ride in the Magic Kingdom it is up to you to be the judge of which rides are more important to you and how to fit them in. How much you want to walk the park are also a factors and how much you can squeeze in your day. If you use these guidelines and adjust it to the traffic of the park you should be able to have a wonderful time with little expense.
