While so many in Christianity are wanting to elevate Tim Tebow as a great role model, I look at him and ask… Where is he not like Christ?
Would Jesus Christ ever dishonor the Name of His Father by wearing shoes named in honor of the pagan goddess Nike?
NO WAY!
So, if I want to help Tim be a better role model that encourages people to honor God better, I will speak up against what he is doing.
I stand in awe of Jesus Christ… not Tim Tebow.
While I respect and probably appreciate most of what Tim does in public to honor God, I despise the honoring of the pagan goddess Nike for victory!
If a god or goddess should be honored for victory… then it should be the MOST HIGH GOD!
Tim Tebow dishonors God by honoring Nike.
If you wear NIKE products… so do you.
