‘The Bachelor’ Season 16 Week 9: Ben Flajnik Picks His Final 2

Week 9 of ABC’s “The Bachelor” featured a blast from the past (okay, a blast from last week!) as an eliminated bachelorette returned to “warn” Ben Flajnik about one of the other girls.

Yep, it took a roseless rejection and a flight to Switzerland for Kacie B. to give Ben the dire news: Pick Courtney and she’ll break your heart.

Of course, this terrible revelation came after Ben had frolicked for three days (and three nights!) with his girlfriends Nicki, Lindzi and Courtney.

They shared helicopter rides and cliff rappelling and picnics complete with cute little cows and sheep. Oh, and then there was those “surprise” overnight fantasy suite cards. Yep, life was good for Ben, who got lucky three times.

Enter Kacie, the deliverer of doom and gloom.

If you watch this show closely — or not– one thing is for sure: Flajnik is no actor. He’s been partial to Courtney Robertson all season, ever since she first stepped out of the limo back in L.A. and he marveled, “That is one pretty girl!”

You know how else you can tell Ben likes Courtney? He actually looks at her when she talks and doesn’t just nod his head and say “Uh huh.”

But this Kacie B. has him thinking now.

“I have lots of women friends, and there’s my mom and my sister, and it’s hard for me when I see those little things to wonder if I’m going to have that support when I get home,” Ben says. Translation: Will the women in my real life hate Courtney as much as these “Bachelor” chicks do?

Still, in the end, Ben follows the same thing he followed when he stripped down and skinny dipped with Courtney in Puerto Rico. Rose ceremony time and he does the heart breaking, this time to a blindsided Nicki.

Next week the rejected women gather together to face off about the season — and they will undoubtedly work in an entire segment aimed at this season’s mean girl.

But what does Courtney care? She’s got a spot in the final 2 and a possible sparkler from Ben. Like she and Charlie Sheen so eloquently like to say: “Winning!”

“The Bachelor” Season 16 airs next on Monday night on ABC.
