People long for that fresh feeling, the way they look and feel after pampering their face and body. Here is a chance to feel that way all of the time! At Fresh, you can experience a wonderfully tantalizing, complimentary facial and hand massage as the expert estheticians demonstrate their products and offer advice about skin care. Since Fresh is the first company to pioneer the use of natural ingredients like sugar, milk, soy and rice in modern day treatments, I feel they were living up to eco- friendly standards without all of the oils, petroleum, and harmful chemicals the others use.
The goal is to make every person’s Fresh experience customized to their needs and make certain the client understands how to use the products.
I was invited to try one of the Fresh Facials and happily entered the treatment room. Cynthia, the Esthetician/ Assistant Manager, and I spent time analyzing my skin and deciding what type of facial would be best for me. Cynthia determines whether her client’s skin was dehydrated, needed more elasticity, or if they wanted the age delay treatment.
The first step was holding my hands over the sink while she prepared the Fresh Brown Sugar Body Polish. Cynthia took the thick part, which acts as an exfoliant, and rubbed it into my hands. Although I could feel the sugar, it was not harsh on the hands like some exfoliants. The brown sugar crystals prevent moisture loss while gently buffing away dry skin cells. After washing it off, she next applied the loose liquid part of the solution. This felt very smooth as she massaged my hands. A blend of four oils- sweet almond, evening primrose, apricot kernel, and jojoba nourish the skin and moisturize dry areas. Ginseng root extract and peppermint revitalizes skin cells. Citrus oils brighten and tone the skin. All of these ingredients work together for a full more complete treatment. The body polish is an all in one product for exfoliating and moisturizing the skin. My hands felt so very smooth but there was more!
After taking off all of the make-up, Cynthia placed hot towels on my face for three to four minutes opening the pores to allow the products to absorb into the skin. Fresh facials are all done by hand; they do not use any equipment. Two lotions are helpful under the eyes- a Lotus eye gel and Black Tea eye cream- to help prevent the build- up of toxins, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, to reduce puffiness and dark circles. One of the ingredients in the Black Tea perfecting mask is cucumbers to boost up the collagen production, to firm and retain moisture in the skin. You feel a cool sensation while wearing the mask. After the mask, the skin stays hydrated for six hours. These beauty rituals are great for people who live in desert climates. A hot towel feels so good and cleans the skin when the mask is removed.
Now you think the Fresh beauty ritual is complete, but no, it is time for the finale. Clients are surprised to be invited for a complimentary make- up application.
For something different, you can have your bridal facials followed by their make-artist for up to six people. The party would be served champagne with chocolate covered strawberries.
The Fresh line has been inspired by Japan, France, the monasteries of the Czech Republic, and other countries. As Cynthia explained, “The Magic behind our program is that our clients receive a complimentary 15 minute or 30 minute facial to discover how the products feel while we are educating them about the proper ways to apply each treatment for the most benefit.”
I enjoyed seeing the new wing of the Caesars Palace Forum Shops. The statues sometimes reached as high as the next floor above. Instead of the escalators moving straight up and down as most of them do, they curved in a semi circle. www.fresh.com
