Although there is no such thing as a stupid question. many are too embarrassed or nervous to ask questions. Perhaps you’ve asked a stupid question and then asked yourself why you asked a stupid question? If you asked the question on this date, it’s okay, it’s officially “Ask a Stupid Question Day” so go ahead and ask that stupid question, you know you’ve been dying to ask and not feel stupid asking. If anyone tells you it’s a stupid question just play along and tell them that it’s okay because today is Ask a Stupid Question Day.

Credit for this specific “holiday” goes to the 1980’s when teachers were trying to get kids to ask more questions in school. What better way to get kids to ask questions than to create “Ask a Stupid Question Day”? By the way, if September 28 falls on a weekend teachers would celebrate it on the last school day of the month.
