Netflix Review

Most people have heard of Netflix already, but for those who do not know about it, it is a service that allows you to rent movies and TV shows as well as stream them for a monthly fee. Currently, the service allows you to have one or two movies at a time as well as unlimited streaming. They used to allow free unlimited streaming, but now they’re starting to charge a monthly fee for it also. I believe it’s about $7 to $8 for one DVD at a time, twice that much for two DVD at a time, and also about $7 to $8 for unlimited streaming.

Let’s start with reviewing how the rental system works. Basically, you start out by choosing the movies or TV shows you want and putting them into a queue, and they’ll send you one or two DVD at a time, depending on your subscription, starting at the top of your queue. You can keep the DVD as long as you want, but they will not send you a new one until you send one back to them. When you are ready to return the DVD to them, all you have to do is put it in the envelop they sent you and put it in the mail. There are no delivery fees at all.

Now, let’s review the unlimited video streaming. You can watch anything you want that’s available for streaming, and there are quite a few things available. Some examples of movies that are available for streaming are Iron Man 2 and Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp. There are plenty of TV shows available for streaming also, such as Married With Children, Avatar: The Last Airbender, etc. The unlimited streaming is my favorite part of the Netflix subscription. In fact, I rarely use my one DVD subscription anymore because all I do is stream movies and TV shows. You can stream on your computer, your TV, your iPhone and your Nintendo 3ds. Overall, I love Netflix and I would recommend it to everyone. If you want to try it out, I’m sure you can ask them for a free one-month coupon.
