MTV’s Kurt Loder Remembers Michael Jackson as a Child Molester

Many are still reeling from Dr. Conrad Murray’s guilty verdict in the Michael Jackson murder trial, including his family and celebrity friends. However, one longtime entertainment journalist told a radio show that through it all he still thinks Jackson was a child molester.

“Its a shame how he grew up … his childhood was a shame … there is many sad aspects to his life, … on the other hand, I think he was a child molester, and that sort of tempers any feelings you might have about him,” former MTV News host Kurt Loder told the “Jeff and Jeremy in the Morning” radio show Tuesday morning, according to TMZ.

Loder also commented that he knew about secret payouts to the families of little boys, though Jackson was never convicted of charges brought against him.

“Maybe being a child molester is the product of a pretty terrible childhood he had… you can see why that might have happened. On the other hand, molesting children is bad,” the journalist added.

Still, dozens of Jackson’s fans and family were relieved that Murray was found the way guilty of injecting the King of Pop with a fatal dose of propofol. Jackson’s mother, Katherine Jackson, told reporters that she was very happy with the outcome.

“I’m just happy that it’s over with, not that it will bring him back but I’m happy he was found guilty,” said Jackson’s oldest sister, Rebbie Jackson.

Still, some commented that Murray’s conviction was like convicted all drug dealers for the overdose deaths of their customers – ultimately, it was Jackson’s choice to get the drugs.

“He looked at me and said: ‘What I need is something that’s going to help me fall asleep right away, (and) the only thing that will help me do that is Diprivan,’” Jackson’s former nurse, Cherilyn Lee, testified during the trial. She said she told him that it wasn’t something she was willing to do.

“‘No, I just need somebody to come here, and I will be safe. If it was monitored. As long as I’m being monitored.’”

Now, Dr. Murray is reportedly “devastated” with his verdict and is in jail awaiting sentencing on Nov. 29. He could get up to four years in prison.

Still, Loder remembers Jackson not as a brilliant musician or as a tortured addict, but as a child molester.

“Having sleepovers with little boys, and you’re a 40 year old man??? Uh, NO. You’re like a child molester,” he said.
