Stanton, Kentucky does not have a bowling Alley. In fact, in this small town there is very little of anything fun to do. For your fix of strikes and spares, you will have to take a little 30 minute drive to another city such as Winchester, or Richmond.

Out of the two choices of local bowling alleys to choose from the least favorite is one that is meeting financial ruin. For one more year, the bowling alley in Winchester Kentucky will remain open but if local residents choose not to go bowling and help the local bowling alley with their expenses, Winchester will lose their own recreation.
Cost:
Leagues may have to find a new alley to go compete. Due to the expenses of Winchesters bowling alley, the cost per hour is $15.00 per lane. Shoes are required on the floor so the shoe rental costs $2.00. If you do not like the idea of renting shoes I would suggest to buy your own because street shoes are forbidden.
Through most days of the week Forest Park Lanes is open in Winchester, Ky from 7 pm to 12 am. Their Facebook page will tell you more about what times this local bowling alley is open. Special events will also be mentioned on the Forest Park Lanes Facebook wall.
Events:
The only special event that Forest Park Lanes is hosting is called “Student Night” every Friday night. This event lasts from 6 pm to 9 pm. for $26.00 you can rent a lane for One hour. Included in the price is a 12 inch pizza and four ice cold soda beverages. Shoes are also included.
If you are interested in Glow Bowl, it starts right after student night. Glow bowl lasts until 12 am and the lights go out along with closing time. So support your local bowling alley and enjoy the delicious pizza associated with the student night price.

Galaxy Bowling Alley located in Richmond Kentucky hosts something that no other bowling alley in the surrounding counties does. Every Friday night, at 6:30 pm the Galaxy Bowling Alley has bingo night. If bowling is not really your thing, then on Friday nights, your family that does love bowling can bowl while you enjoy a night of dotting your letters and numbers.

Monday through Saturday Galaxy Bowling Alley is open from 12pm to 1 am. However, on Sundays Richmond’s local bowling alley is open from 3 pm from 9 pm. On Tuesdays there is an event called nifty fifties where games, domestic beers, hotdogs and shoe rentals are only fifty cents.

Galaxy Bowling Alley and Forest Park Lanes are both really good Bowling Alleys but if you are looking for a good deal, the best place to visit is definitely Galaxy Bowling Alley.
