Siwon from the popular South Korean boy band “Super Junior” became the Filipino ELF’s personal radar for a day. Six hours before arriving in the Philippines at the start of 2012, Siwon tweeted about his trip to Manila together with groupmates Eunhyuk and Kyuhyun. Immediately after they arrived, he posted a proof shot of the NAIA airport in his twitter account. While the other two opted to keep a low profile, Siwon kept his fans updated by continuously hinting on their whereabouts. No wonder the Filipino ELFs were on the run since the beginning of the year.
Siwon openly announced that they are here to film for an advertisement. Some say that the three will be endorsing for “Penshoppe”, a popular clothing brand in the Philippines. While others are fine with knowing that they are breathing the same air, most of them can not be contented with just that as they began their search to find their oppa (an older brother or an older male). Fans even waited until morning for Siwon’s next update. The next day, with a picture of the sunrise, Siwon finally revealed that from a hotel, their next destination will be at the Orchard Road in Eastwood City, Metro Manila Quezon City. Dressed in aprons and berets, sources say that they are actually here to film a commercial ad for “Kyochon Chicken”, a South Korean fried chicken restaurant chain.
The trio went back to Korea after filming. Despite not being able to finish their shoot at Intramuros, Siwon thanked all his fans and even replied to one of them saying, “…It was awesome! proud of you all!” he tweeted before the day ended. And that concludes their little game of hide and seek. So who were able to find them? Filipino ELFs, raise your hands!
