Food trucks are no strangers in Korea, where thousands of food trucks, stands and carts have been in business for many years. These businesses are an integral part of the Korean culture and a complete submersion into the Korean experience would be incomplete without tasting one of an endless variety of popular street food cuisine. In America, until recently, street food rarely involved anything beyond hotdogs and peanuts or in major cities, an added choice of gyros or kebabs. However, in the past few years, a new revolution in the food industry has been on the rise involving food trucks that create and dispense restaurant quality food to their customers in street cart fashion and many times, the culinary ideas and creations are headed by a respected and well-educated restaurant chef.
