John Cryer Spills Details for Two and a Half Men New Season Without Charlie Sheen

Let’s face it! Charlie Sheen made “Two and a Half Men” what it was. The show ran for eight fun years and now what we know of the show is finished. Charlie Sheen is gone and Ashton Kutcher will step into the lead role. CBS is trying to make the show funny by using John Cryer as a mentor to Ashton Kutcher. John Cryer will be teaching Ashton Kutcher about love and women.

Charlie Harper was the womanizer on the show and his life mimicked Charlie Sheen. Charlie Harper knew a lot about getting women into bed, but knew nothing about real relationships because he was a selfish self-centered man. This is what made the show funny and brought it to the top of the list of comedies on television.

Alan Harper (played by John Cryer) is a chiropractor who is like most men. He has all kinds of trouble getting and keeping women. Alan Harper was the hilarious side-kick to his brother Charlie Harper. They were a team that made Two and a Half Men funny. Charlie Sheen has a troubled life (in real life) and is removed from the show. Some crazy person at CBS said the show must go on.

Ashton Kutcher steps into “Two and a Half Men” to replace Charlie Sheen. Charlie Sheen and Ashton Kutcher are two different actors who live two completely different personal lives. Charlie Sheen is the bad boy and Ashton Kutcher is married to a woman fifteen years his senior, Demi Moore. Ashton Kutcher is known as a pretty boy in comedies, not a love sick crybaby.

CBS will try to use John Cryer as a mentor to the younger and less experienced new star of the show. This means completely writing and changing the show because of a feud they are having with Charlie Sheen. This means making Two and a Half Men a completely different show.

In steps Ashton Kutcher as Waldon Schmidt who is a “internet billionaire with a broken heart”. John Cryer will become his mentor and teach him about women. This will be interesting change because Alan Harper knew completely nothing about women for the eight years he has been on the show. Poof! Charlie Sheen leaves the show and John Cryer plays the mentor. John Cryer himself says he will be a horrible mentor and this is what will make the show funny.

There are rumors that Charlie Harper will be killed off on the first episode and Waldon Schmidt will step into the picture. The question that remains is what will happen to the half of a man who is all grown up at seventeen years old? Angus T. Jones plays Jake Harper who used to be the cute little boy on the show. He is now seventeen years old and on his way into adulthood. There is no longer a half of a man on Two and a Half Men because Jake Harper is all grown up now. Maybe they should call the show Two and Three Quarters Men.

Likely, the new Two and a Half Men will have some laughs. Ashton Kutcher is a professional actor who is funny and played Michael Kelso for eight seasons on “That 70’s Show”. He will fit into the show for awhile and the interactions between him and John Cryer will be funny. However, the show will fizzle after a time and will be remembered for its earlier years and Charlie Sheen.

Charlie Sheen made Two and a Half Men what it was because the show was a mirror of his own personal life. He was paid $1.8 million per episode to play somebody who was just like him. He played the role well, the show was hilarious and his supporting actors rode along with Charlie for eight fun years. CBS, change the name of this show or put it down like a horse that will never ride again. John Cryer is funny, but he is not Charlie Sheen and he is no love mentor.
