Where was I on September 11, 2001
I was at home.
Suspicion lurked in my mind when the first jet hit
When the second jet hit my suspicion became reality
More important how has it effected me
I am more cautious where I travel
Being at large gatherings of any type makes me uneasy
In these gatherings I feel my vulnerability
What have I done since then
I have learned as much as I can about how it happened
Not a day goes by without me making a public comment
It is so important to keep the memory fresh by educating others
I have spoken up against terrorist regimes such as Iraq
I have supported our only true friend in the Middle East
I have read and watched information from great minds regarding terrorism
I have shared both on various social media sites
I have supported our troops
I have asked for them to be brought home
You cannot change a persons thoughts with war
You can only effect their current behavior
This is a war that must be fought differently
It is a war of intellect
It is a war of money
It is a war about fundamentalism of all types
I often suggest people watch Erick Stakelbeck of CBN
I suggest they read the writings of Professor Barry Rubin
I suggest they increase salaries to all first responders
I suggest we support the families of our military
Beware of the revolutions in many of the countries in the world
Revolutions have often brought us regimes that are worse than what they replaced
I support stopping aide to any country that does not support us
Be aware of any group left or right which is fundamentalist in nature
Remember that history repeats itself
Remember the crusades were fought in the name of religion
Remember the holocaust was genocide based upon political ideology
Remember in order to change things it cannot be done buy sitting back and just complaining
Be vigilant
Be open minded
Stop all types of religious and ethnic discrimination
Truly, its not about money or taxes or any type of economics. OUR COUNTRY IS ABOUT PEOPLE
