I lost all my books
I don’t know what I will do
I might blame in onto you
Help me choose my clothes
I have no school clothes to wear
None of my clothes fit
I kept growing during summer
That really is a bummer
Help me choose my friends
I’m a loner, I neeed help
I’m not a loser
Help me do my very best
Also help me with my tests
These poems are in the style of a Tanka. A Tanka has five lines. The first line has five syllables, the second has seven, the third has 5, and the last two have seven syllables.
