Free Texas Rangers Pumpkin Stencils for Halloween

The 2011 American League champions, the Texas Rangers, are currently tied up 1 to 1 in the baseball World Series against the 2011 National League champions, the St. Louis Cardinals. A unique way of showing fan support is by carving and displaying a Texas Rangers themed pumpkin.

The MLB has released six free Texas Rangers stencils that can be used for pumpkin carving.

One is titled “Texas” and is a pattern design of just that: the word “Texas”. A second one available is titled “Texas Flag” and is a pattern of the Texas state flag waving. Even if you aren’t a die-hard baseball fan, these two can double for your love of the great state of Texas.

A third free MLB stencil is titled “Rangers Script” and is a pattern of the baseball team’s name in script handwriting. A fourth one is titled “Rangers” and is the baseball team’s name in printed handwriting. These two appear to be the easiest of the six pumpkin patterns to use for your carving.

A fifth stencil design is called “Logo” and is a pattern of the team’s logo. The logo features the big letter T in the center of a circle made with the team name, Texas Rangers. And inside the circle, there is baseball stitching to give the impression that there is a baseball behind the letter T.

The last free design available from MLB is a pattern of the full name of the team, “Texas Rangers”.

You can view all six of these on their MLB website. The stencils can either be downloaded in a GIF or PDF format.
