Fine Art Level 2 – Solar 2 – Planet Mission Walkthrough

The Fine Art missions in Solar 2 will have you working as the caretaker for some of the Entity’s celestial art pieces. Level 1 begins with requesting that you take care of a nearby solar system piece that has become clogged with asteroids. To best accomplish this mission, it is important to have no life on your planet, as the life forms will potentially shoot and destroy the orbiting planets, causing you to fail this mission. As a Small Planet, try to build up some mass sop you are about 75 percent to the life stage, as you will need to take some hits.

When you move to the system in Fine Art 1, you will need to carefully position yourself in the orbit paths of the asteroids that orbit the planets of the target system without touching the planets or star whatsoever. Use the orbit key to help give you some guiding lines for this process. You can even turn on the path key to help you match speeds with the planets, thus letting the asteroids hit you, instead of risking as strike on the planet by moving into the rock yourself.

The best way to accomplish this level is to work from the outside and slowly moving inwards as the gravity well of the sun makes the inner asteroids more difficult to clear without falling into the star itself. Once you have cleared the last asteroid, the mission is instantly complete, which means if you fall into the star afterwards you will not be penalized.

Finally, one point of note is to make sure you are relatively quick about your task, and avoid pulling the star system with your own gravity well before being almost done with the mission. The reason for this is that nearby objects such as other solar systems, hostile lifeforms and their planets or even nomads can end up screwing up your mission if allowed to get involved.
