Dying is just like taxes in the respect that it is going to happen to you and me. Over history, we realize it doesn’t matter who you are, you are going to face death. Famous people have no secret weapon against death. They are just like you and I. They will die. We will die. Death is a part of life. However, many of us look forward to eternal life in Heaven. After we all pass from this world, I hope to meet each one of you in a better place called Heaven.

1881 U.S. President James A. Garfield dies of wounds suffered in a July 2 shooting.

1895-1969 Rex Ingram, American actor, The Thief of Bagdad

1946-1973 Gram Parsons, American musician, died from overdose at 26, but still considered one of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time

1923-1989 Willie Steele, American Olympic gold medalist

1907-1995 Orville Redenbacher, American botanist and businessman of Orville Redenbacher Popcorn

1955-1997 Rich Mullins, American singer, contemporary Christian Music singer who died in an accident, he sung “Awesome God”

1933-2004 Eddie Adams was a Pulitzer Prize-winning American photographer and photojournalist noted for portraits of celebrities and politicians and his coverage of 13 wars.

1931-2004 Skeeter Davis, American singer- “The End of The World”
