Easy Thanksgiving Turkey Stuffing Recipes

No Thanksgiving is complete without turkey stuffing. From your basic turkey stuffing recipe to something packed with dried fruits and nuts, there is something for everyone. Some turkey stuffings use fresh breads while others use dried. Your choice in bread has as much impact on the flavor on your turkey stuffing as the rest of ingredients that are in it. The sweet and the savory each has its own place in a turkey stuffing recipe and are sure to please.

Basic Turkey Stuffing

4 ribs of finely chopped celery

1 small finely chopped onion

½ stick margarine melted

1 loaf of Italian bread (Cube the day before and let dry overnight)

3 eggs, beaten

Salt & Pepper to taste

1 14oz can either Chicken Broth or Evaporated milk

Mix all ingredients together. Mixing with your hands works best so you can feel the moisture in the stuffing mix. Although you can taste it, this is not recommended due to the raw eggs. Once mixed place in a baking dish and bake at 375 for 30 minutes. You can also stuff in the turkey and back according to the direction on the wrapper.

Cornbread Turkey Stuffing

6 to 8 cups of cornbread from your favorite recipe

½ cup fine chopped parsley

2 sticks melted margarine

5 eggs, beaten

½ teaspoon each salt and pepper

Using your hands mix all ingredients together until well mixed. Put in a buttered baking dish. Bake in a

350 oven for 45 minutes. Stuffing mix can also be cooked in the turkey following in directions on the package.
