This morning I was watching the morning news. The comments about the Presidents proposal was very disturbing. All the comments where about how passing the proposal would be good or bad from a stategic position. The needs of the American people where never mentioned. The content of the proposel was not discussed.
Political posturing at such a critical time for many Americans is evidence of the current congress’s blindness. It is time for a change. The Presidents proposals should be noncontriversial enough to pass. The proposals should help America. The President and congress will need to go much futher to get any huge impact on the economy.
The problem is congress refuses to even talk about the tougher obsticals they have to face to get the economy going again. Exobident fuel prices and manufacturing job loss’s in America are just a few of the long list of problems that congress refuses to deal with. The congress talks about how a proposal would be good or bad for their re-election. Our plight has become secondary to their re-electibility.
Let’s just get rid of all these anti job politicians. Most but not all are Republicans. Some Republicans are very upset with the majority leaders. These few are not strong enough to change the Republican parties long standing traditions. Some Democrats are so cluless they have no idea what to so they do nothing. We as Americans are caught in the middle.
The only solution seems to be get rid of these old time screw America polititians. Many of the Democrate boneheads where flushed out during the last election. Most but not all. The Republicans that have supported the president in the past should be re- elected. They are at least trying to get America working agin. They will never go far enough but they at least seem to understand the need for a positive change.
Understanding the fact that the old ways are hurting America is at least a step in the right direction.
Until we get rid of these Old time me first America whenever politicians nothing will change for the good. Until then email your discontent to your local elected official on a daily basis.
The president is right when he says Americans cannot wait until the next election. We need action now. Complain daily to your local officials. Encourage your friends and neighbors to complain daily. Do not let up on these Blind politicians. Maybe we can force them to become Americans first not their current Me first Americans whenever attitude.
