Christmas Parade Time in the Tulsa Area

Now that the holiday season is here, it means it is time for those wonderful Christmas parades in and around the Tulsa area. There will be quite a few wonderful parades in area for all to enjoy.

Starting in Tulsa itself, according to www.newson6.com, there will be two parades in Tulsa at the same time on the same day. December 10th at 6 p.m. will kick off the annual Tulsa Holiday Parade of Lights in downtown and the inaugural Tulsa Christmas Parade being held in the Tulsa Hills shopping center.

In the suburban areas, there will also be lots of parades celebrating the Christmas season including the Sand Springs Christmas Parade on December 2nd at 7 p.m. in downtown. The Civitans Annual Christmas Parade in Broken Arrow on December 3rd will begin at 10:00 a.m. in downtown BA on Main St. Also on December 3rd beginning at 9:30 a.m. will be the Owasso Christmas Parade. The evening of December 3rd will have Christmas spirit in Claremore, with their parade starting at 6 p.m. from the Expo Center.

Friday December 9th will feature the Bixby Christmas Parade starting at 6 a.m. in downtown Bixby. Collinsville will having their parade on December 10th at 11 a.m. while Coweta will be the same day at Noon. Oologah will start their parade on the evening of December 10th at 5:30, while Sapulpa will also have their parade on the 10th and it will start that evening at 6 p.m. Rounding out the 10th is the Skiatook Christmas parade which will be that evening beginning at 7 p.m.

Obviously one can see the numerous choices that there is in finding a Christmas parade in the Tulsa area this December. Take advantage and enjoy the great music, floats, and other entries in these wonderful parades.
