Can Josh Krajcik Win ‘The X-Factor’ TV Show?

We haven’t watched all of ‘The X Factor’ TV Show up to this point, but we did see one young singer on September 28 that we think may just have ‘what it takes’ or to be more specific, he may have that unknown quality which can better be described as ‘the x-factor’.

That singer was a young man named Josh Krajcik. He totally astonished everyone on the judge’s panel and in the audience, because when you looked at him, his demeanor and appearance would not give you the impression of what his voice would sound like.

When he began to sing ‘At Last’, you could see the jaws dropping of both the judges and of the audience, as the viewing audience at home was simply enthralled with this young man’s singing voice.

As far as what was said, he has had no formal voice training. When asked what he does for a living, he replied ‘I am a burrito slinger’. Josh and his mother drove for several hours to the audition and with a resounding ‘4 yes votes’ to continue on, he will be in the next round on this new TV show.

With all of the judges voting yes for Josh, his mother and he were both emotional, but we are saying: ‘Just wait and see. This young man should be prepared to go far in this competition, and we will hazard a guess that with some work on his appearance, he will become as polished as some of the big entertainers who wow the crowds daily in Las Vegas!’

Is the ‘The X-Factor’ TV Show just another ‘American Idol’ show, yet by another name? We don’t think so, even though both former Idol judges Simon Cowell and Paul Abdul are on it. With ‘The X-Factor’ we get to see aspiring singers and entertainers of any age from 14 and up. We also can see groups of many, or a few, or duets, trios, quartets, which we never saw on the ‘American Idol TV Show.

Many things in these two shows are alike, yet the feel of ‘The X-Factor’ TV Show is different from that old favorite standby ‘Idol’. Will it ever replace ‘American Idol’ TV Show? We really don’t think so, as ‘Idol’ has had many years to become entrenched in the hearts and minds of the American viewing public.

We love our Carrie Underwood, our Kellie Pickler, our Bo Bice, and our Lauren Aliana and Scotty McCreery. We’re not ever going to want to give them up, either.

‘The X-Factor’ TV Show is seen locally on Fox 17, WZTV in Nashville on Wednesday and Thursday night.
