Tech N9ne recently released his new album All 6’s and 7’s. This album was highly anticipated to be his biggest album, and the release proved that was true. While it is still not clear, this album is projected to be Tech N9ne’s biggest seller. This projection is partly due to the many artists that Tech N9ne has featured in his tracks, which seems to be widening his fan base. The new album by Tech N9ne features some of the biggest hip hop names around including Twista, Busta Rhymes, Lil Wayne, E40, B.o.B, Snoop Dogg, Yelawolf, Stokely, Chino Moreno & Stephen Carpenter, J Rock, Kendrick Lamar, and T Pain. With an artist list like this it is clear that Tech N9ne’s fame is only growing, and it is also clear that this will be the CD to own this year.
In addition to featuring some of the biggest stars in the game, this album dropping also marked the beginning of the “All 6’s and 7’s” tour. This tour was the longest tour that Tech N9ne has completed with Strange Music Records, with a staggering 82 shows in 85 days. This tour took very careful planning by Strange music due to the amount of featured artists set to perform, and initial concerns were that the performance quality would be reduced due to the grueling schedule. In Spite of the concern Tech N9ne sported his well-known face paint for a two hours show almost every night for weeks. Putting all concern to rest, it seems Tech N9ne dazzled his fans once again with exemplary reviews from all shows performed. With two weeks touring in Canada, and ten weeks within the U.S. Tech N9ne rose from a hip hop star to a hip hop tycoon.
This CD has proved to be the best hip hop release in 2011 due to its overwhelming success and geographical reach. Tech N9ne’s new album “All 6’s and 7’s” Along with the subsequent tour skyrocketed him to another level of fame within the hip hop community. His new collaborations as well as international recognition seem to be opening more and more eyes to the world of Tech N9ne and Strange Music alike. With this new success it is easy to say this album has been one of the most popular albums of the year, and that Tech N9ne is an artist we will be hearing much more from.
