Which Celebrities Have it Right when Using Social Networking?

According to TVGuide.com, apparently Ashton Kutcher has it right when using Twitter to interact with his fans. He’s not the only one that has it going on with his fans on Twitter, there are others who have what it takes to keep their fans happy.

The tips provided in the article written by Lindsay Silberman, Social TV: 5 Must-Read Tips for Actors to Better Interact with Their Fans, not only should be used by actors, sports players, and other high profile people, the everyday Joe can use them too.

The three people on my list are those I know who fit into the same category as Ashton Kutcher when it comes to social networking. How many people like these interact with you and their fans on Twitter and Facebook?

Saul Rubinek – “Warehouse 13″

Of course I’m a bit partial to Saul since he did answer me on one of my tweets to him on Twitter. With this in mind, Saul does exactly what was suggested in the article I read about Actors and Social TV.

Not only did Saul let his fans participate, he tweets for himself, shares behind the scenes pictures of what’s going on with his play “Terrible Advice.” Did you know that he wrote a play?

Ron Capps – NHRA Funny Car Driver

Ron Capps is another who gets involved with his fans on Twitter and Facebook. He posts pictures behind the scenes, what’s happening when he’s not on the road, and various other things one would not expect of an athlete.

If you haven’t ever been to an NHRA race, you really should try to go to one race even if it’s a qualifying round. Go to the pit area, yes the fans are encouraged to go back there to meet their favorite drivers and get their autographs and have a conversation with them.

All the men and women of the NHRA are down to Earth and will make you a fan of theirs whether you follow the sport or not because they believe in their fans.

Ashley Force Hood – NHRA Funny Car Driver

Right now Ashley is taking the season off due to becoming a mom in August 2011. She does take the time for her fans, as well as her dad’s fans. As far as that goes, the whole Force racing team. Just last week she hosted a 30 minute live webcam chat with their fans. The fans were definitely requested to post questions they wanted answered.

Although this was her first webcam Q&A on Facebook, Ashley still has what it takes to spend time with her fans while being a new mom, which by the way she introduced her son to the group that attended her event online.

There are others who I follow who do interact with their fans in many of the ways the ones listed above do, but could get a little more involved with their fan base with conversations to boost their fans image of them. One thing I would suggest to any of them who read this is to take all things their fans say whether it’s good, bad or indifferent because you may never know when that one comment will lead to something even more spectacular for you and them.
