When it Rains, it Pours

The coldness of the wind
Sends chills deep into my bones.
This is the worst feeling ever.
Being stuck in the rain
Without an umbrella to protect me.
Without my key to my house.

The key that fits the lock is in the house.
My life is gone in the wind.
This always happens to me.
It will break my bones.
No one else ever feels the wetness of the rain.
No one else has this problem ever.

Leaving its marks for ever.
Blowing against the house.
I’m standing in the rain

Being blown around by the wind.

Coldness reaches my bones.

Why Me?

Why does this happen to me?
This time feels like for ever.
With hollow bones?
Outside my house?
Why am I stuck in the wind?
In the rain?

Yes, in the rain.
This is me
In the wind.
I will never ever
Get into the house,
Not with these shattered bones

These bones
Are smashed by the rain,
Smashed against the house.
Watch me
Fall to the ground forever,
And fly away in the wind.

Inside the house are where my bones want to be.
The wind howling in the rain.
Me. I’m broken for-ever.
