What’s a limerick, you ask?
Well I’ve been given the task
to come up with words that rhyme.
Please help me in time,
or, just pass me the flask . . .
My beau once gave me a locket
My heart leaped high as a rocket
then my neck turned three shades of green.
I’ll punch him the next time he’s seen
but for now, my fist will stay in my pocket!
