Ways to Get into a College Football Game

If you are a college student on campus and want to watch your school play, this article will provide you with five ideas for doing just that. It is always easier to get into your own stadium than on the road. This is because you are more familiar with your local surroundings and how things are done. In most cases, you can get into the stadium by just asking.
Ask a Booster
Unlike NCAA players getting into trouble by being given tickets, students can just ask. Boosters often know of other boosters that will miss the game for one reason or another. Calling in advance can be a big advantage.
Work with the Band or Cheerleaders
Many times these two groups have equipment that needs to be carried into the stadium. Volunteer to carry in items for them. Talk to the band director or cheer-leading sponsor.
Ticket Manager
Talk to the manager in advance. Be honest and tell them you are short on funds, but really want to go to the game. If they have extra tickets left over, they just might give you one.
Field Manager
Once again, offer to be of service in some way to get into the game. Stick to your word and it could open the door for future dates.
Athletic Director
One of the hardest working individuals is the AD. When it comes to getting into any event, they are the ones to talk with. The week before the game, make an appointment to see them in their office. Explain your strong desire to see the game to them. You can volunteer as a helper or even to pay for the ticket at a later time.

Nobody should be left outside the gates, if they want to see the game bad enough. These are five examples, of how to get in.
