Fans of puzzle games, especially number logic games, will almost certainly tell you how amazing the Japanese game of Sudoku is. With deceptive simplicity, it invites users to partake in one of the most addicting type of puzzle games, with huge array configurations to keep the game play totally varied and challenging. Sudoku is available on the iOS, but there is also some amazing Sudoku-inspired puzzle app available too. Check out these hot Sudoku-style apps, both paid and free versions, today!

Sudomoto
Sudomoto is a new Sudoku-inspired app on the iOS puzzle scene. It’s available from developer TomLook, for $0.99 on the iTunes store. Gamers will find the multiple game play options (game boards customizable from 4×4, 6×6 to 9×9), game difficulty settings (very easy, easy, medium, hard) and more to be a great value. Ontop of that, the awesome game play (match up the different symbols into the game board without putting the same icons adjacent to each other) will keep gamers coming back for more. The developers went with a minimalist design style, cute and stylish colorful icons on a black game background, and it really fits the focus of Sudomoto. There is even a YouTube trailer to check out if you really are interested in this unique Sudoku-styled app. Sudomoto is available for devices running iOS 4.0 or higher and puzzle fans should definitely give this one a shot!

NumberLink
NumberLink is another solid Sudoku-styled app, focusing on presenting itself as a numbers logic game. NumberLink has a simple game play premise: just connect the pairs of numbers on the game board, avoiding leaving any empty squares on the game play board. There’s a timer, with Hints, Erase and Undo features to further make things interesting. I was especially impressed with the unique game graphics and layout for NumberLink-the developers have gone the extra mile to keep it feeling like a traditional board game sitting on your coffee table. You’ll need iOS 4.3 or higher to run this Free app. The only downside to NumberLink is the low of levels available for it at the moment, but the developers have indicated that more free levels are coming soon, so keep your eyes peeled for these new updates!

Jigsaw Sudoku
Take Sudoku and throw in an amazingly stylized version with jigsaw puzzle pieces, expandable themes, high scores, timer, and varied board shapes-boom, you have Jigsaw Puzzle! Available for free for iOS devices running iOS 3.0 or later, Jigsaw Sudoku is perhaps most similar to the original game of the three apps featured here. However, the unique board layouts really do mix things up and create a unique and challenging version of Sudoku to enjoy!
