The Speaker Should Call for the Impeachment of Obama

Fact : The Constitution of the United States Article II, Section 4 ” The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of Treason, Bribery, or other high crimes and Misdemeanors. While the House of Representatives has the sole power of impeaching, the US Senate has the sole power to try an impeachment, and therein might lie the Speakers hesitancy.

While treason and bribery is not the issue, an argument can be made, a crime occurred in burdening the United States with trillions of debt, while at the same time wasting public money on dubious job creation programs unverifiable in producing any jobs. The effects of ARRA – The American Recovery and Investment Act – the economic stimulus with a cost factor of $820 billion have been documented throughout. We know billions in stimulus money created no jobs, rather created more unemployment. The result, hundreds of billion dollars wasted of the public’s money. The administration spent the billions on hastily created programs without proper thought process and knowing full well they gambled on many programs.

The U.S. however, is not a guinea program trying out what works and what not, while gambling the money of the public. We have no room to experiment and time has already run out. The best that may happen, is tying Obama’s hands to prevent even further damage to the economy. The worst, if unions and minorities rally to re-elect Obama for another term and the United States actually defaulting on its debt. Already, the daily interest on the accrued national debt are several billions of dollars.

Trying once again to create jobs, will once again cost billions, the billions the nation no longer has.In the short time since the debt ceiling was raised, the national debt increased already to $14.7 trillion. It happens that quickly. Government spending through fiscal 2011, is an estimated $3.82 trillion, with expected revenues only reaching $2.17 trillion, thus leaving a deficit of $1.48 trillion.

So where does Mr. Obama find the money to promote (more failed job creation programs)? unless borrowing the money? To have anything to work with and hand out any programs that might create jobs, will cost billions (latest estimate are $300 billion) [of more debt] and under the current deficit budget, we don’t have any spare billions and should never raise the debt limit again, unless coupled with equal increases in GDP output. Since May of this year, roughly 40 percent of the government spending depends on borrowed money.

Mr. Obama needs to be stopped before creating further damage and that lies in the hands of the Speaker.
