“The Immortal” Hulk Hogan Scheduled to Wrestle One Last Match

The most famous wrestler of all time, Hulk Hogan, will be lacing up the boots one last time. During a TV taping for Spike TV’s Impact Wrestling, The Hulkster accepted the challenge of longtime rival Sting. The two are scheduled to collide at Impact Wrestling’s Bound for Glory pay per view.

For Hogan, this may be his last match ever. Through the years, Hogan has announced his retirement a few times, only to come back a couple years later. However, Hulk Hogan is now 58 years old, and has had over a dozen back surgeries. His most recent back surgery came just last year. Before the surgery, the former Heavyweight Champion of the World was looking at life in a wheelchair.

If his match against rival Sting is his last match, you can expect the live crowd in Philadelphia to cheer loudly for the mighty Hulk Hogan. Although the yellow haired muscle man is playing the bad guy role, wrestling fans have always had adoration for the man who put wrestling on the map. They have a great respect for Hogan, and may very well jeer his opponent out of the building.

In recent months, Hogan has slimmed down considerably and looks to be in decent shape. But when he starts walking, you can’t help but cringe. Even though Hogan is mobile, it will be difficult for him to get through an entire wrestling match. But for fans of the man who once slammed Andre the Giant in front of 93,000 people, seeing Hogan one last time will be worth the price of admission alone.

Hulk Hogan will wrestle his last match on October 16th against Sting for Impact Wrestling’s Bound for Glory. Tickets are still available and the event will be available on pay per view.
