Snow Day!

Snow keeps falling,
down from the sky.
When will it stop?
The roads are white,
the trees are weighed down.
Traffic is slow,
the roads are slick.
But school is still in session
We live in Alaska,
sometimes we wonder why.
But in a way it is peacful,
to look out at the falling sky.
Everything is white now,
and we are losing power at times.
But yet we all choose to live here.
Alaska,
a wonderful state.
Where even if there is 4 feet of snow out,
and it is still snowing.
Students still have to go to school,
but there may be a 2 hour delay snow day.
