Rockin’ Concerts Bringing in 2012 in Cleveland

If you’re looking to have fun in the new year in the Cleveland metropolitan area, be sure to check out some of the amazing concerts that are coming to town. Cleveland is the home of rock and roll and attracts musicians of all genres and celebrity. Some of the top upcoming concerts in the beginning of 2012 are detailed below:

Afroman at Peabody’s Concert Club

If you are into smaller venues, Peabody’s concert center, located at 2045 E. 21st St. in Cleveland, is an excellent place. Peabody’s brings in a lot of great artists from a number of different genres. One of their most exciting upcoming concerts is Afroman, a well-respect rap and hip-hop artist who was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2002. Afroman will be performing on Sunday, January 16, and doors will open at 6 p.m. Tickets, which are currently on sale, can be purchased at Peabody’s website and are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.

Silent Civilian at Peabody’s Concert Club

Frontman Jonny Santos, another Grammy Award nominee, and his band Silent Civilian, a metalcore band, will perform at Peabody’s Concert Club on Friday, January 20. The doors will open at 7 p.m., and tickets, which are now on sale, can be purchased at Peabody’s website. The tickets are $10 in advance or at the door..

Estelle at the House of Blues

Estelle, the popular hip-hop artist, is coming to the House of Blues in Cleveland on February 2 at 8 p.m. The House of Blues is located at 308 Euclid Ave. in downtown Cleveland. Tickets are on sale and can be purchased at the House of Blues website. The tickets are priced at $23 if bought in advance and $25 if purchased at the door.

The Black Keys at Quicken Loans Arena

If you are into bands in the indie rock genre and love to watch these bands at major arenas, then check out The Black Keys concert at Quicken Loans Arena on Tuesday, March 20, at 7:30 p.m. The Quicken Loans Arena is located at the intersection of Ontario Street and Huron Road in downtown Cleveland. The Black Keys are a hometown band from Akron, Ohio, and extremely popular. Tickets are currently on sale are Quicken Loans Arena’s website and are priced at $34.50, $44.50, and $59.50. The tickets also include a facility fee of $3.

Neil Diamond at Quicken Loans Arena

The legendary rock and roll musician and icon Neil Diamond will be performing at Quicken Loans Arena on Sunday, July 1, where he will perform many of his famous hits that helped earn him a spot as an inductee in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Tickets are currently on sale at Quicken Loans Arena’s website and are priced at $55, $85, and $120 with a $3 facility fee.
