New Simple Hairstyles to Try: Updos & Ponytails

1. Side swept bangs: We’ve seen Nicole Ritchie do this all the time, but giving your hair a deep part on the side (above one of your eyebrows) and comb your hair across your forehead (Justin Bieber style), and push any dangling pieces behind your hairs, or pin them back. 2. Voluminous updo: Take a curling iron or a set of rollers, and loosely curl your hair all over. Then take a few pieces in the front and back and pin them in a twist or bun on top of your head. Let a few curls on the sides (by your ears) dangle. 3. Halfway updo: You can use the same method above, but only pinning back the pieces in the front, and letting the rest of your hair hang down. 4. Slick ponytail. Pull your hair back in a smooth, tight ponytail. Allow the tail to be in your natural texture, and the front very smooth and slick. Place the ponytail in the center of the back of your head or at the nape of the neck.
