Match Results for TRP in Boxborough, Massachusetts

Top Rope Promotions invaded Boxborough, Massachusetts for the first time ever on September 30th 2011. The eight match super card was a fundraiser for the Boxborough Firefighters Association. A loud and energetic crowd was on hand to witness a great night of pro wrestling action. Here are the results from Friday evenings event.

Shane Alden defeated The Ladies Man in 7:34 The Ladies Man dominated the opening encounter. The long time rivals didn’t hold back and pummeled the tar out of one another. Just as The Ladies Man was getting ready to piledrive Shane, the popular Alden brother was able to get behind The Ladies Man and roll him up in a School Boy Pin.

“The Maestro” Guy Alexander pinned Kevin Cordeiro in 8:01 Former TRP Interstate Champion schooled the rookie Kevin Cordeiro in the second match of the evening. The nervous newcomer made a few rookie mistakes that Alexander was able to take advantage of. “The Maestro” was able to hook Cordeiro in a Fishermans Suplex to gain the win.

Luscious Latasha beat Barbie in 8:46 Luscious Latasha finally got her hands on Barbie after months of anticipation. Luscious brought back plenty of tricks from her wrestling tour of Japan. The two hard hitting women knocked each other senseless for almost ten minutes. But it was Latasha who was able to pull out the victory after reversing a bodyslam attempt into a small package.

Matt Magnum defeated Jason Blade in 12:33 In a preview of the 6th Annual Kowalski Cup, Matt Magnum was able to sneak out a victory over the seasoned veteran Jason Blade. Both combatants traded multiple near fall attempts, and both guys landed several high impacts maneuvers. Though Blade entered the match as the popular fan favorite, the crowd erupted in applause for both competitors after the bell sounded.

“Mr. USA” Tony Atlas and “Kid USA” Jay Jailett beat The Freakshow in a non-title match at 7:26 The patriotic strongman and the returning Jay Jailett proved too big a challenge for Collosous and Buck Nasty. Jailett pinned Nasty after a flying elbow drop from the top rope.

Interstate Champion Vinny Marseglia and Scott Reed went to a double count out at 11:00 With a renewed sense of intensity, Scott Reed battled reigning Interstate Champion Vinny Marseglia to a double count out. Reed dominated most of the match, slamming Vinny with devastating forearms and open hand chops. The “never give up” attitude of Marseglia prevailed, as he was able to kick out of several pin attempts. The referee called for the bell after neither individual answered the 10-count.

The Whaling City Wrecking Crew beat “The Great” Gino Giovanni and Eric Alden in 7:58 Nick Steel and Vain made quick and easy work of the odd and informal tag team of Alden and Giovanni. Nick Steel pinned Eric Alden after a double shoulder tackle.

Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake defeated “The Devil Reject” Brandon Webb in 6:33 The wrestling legend made quick work of the smaller Webb. Webb got a brief offensive on Beefcake after several illegal eye rakes. However, Brutus was able to catch Webb off guard with the Sleeper hold. After the match, Beefcake shaved Brandon Webb’s head bald.
