Accorrding to Cavuto of Fox TVNews said today that Kim Kardashian, 31 years and Kris Humphries, 26 years marriage of 72 days was heading for divorce because of “irreconcilable differences”.
At the same time, rumor has it that the Kardashian-Humphries wedding could have been a total hoax and a scam to make huge amounts of money in the process.
What kind of money are we talking about? Well lets look at the price tags for the whole wedding episode, scam or not.
The wedding cost a whopping 10 million dollars.
Kardashian sold exclusive rights to her wedding for $ 18 million.
Rights to her wedding dress went for three million dollars.
So how does all this pan out in legal terms? Actually, not much. Kardashian’s wedding just did not work out, so it is hard for any group to sue the couple for fraud. Try proving it in court! Not likely, since no contract between the media and Kardashian was made as to how long the marriage needed to last to protect her rights of divorce.
Dorothy Cascerceri , senior editor of “In Touch Wedding” told Fox News today, Kardashian sold the couple’s photos vacationing in Mexico for $100,000.
That photo shoot was not only a breeze for the couple but also covered holiday costs and much more!
“Kim Kardashian can make a profit from anything,” said Cascerceri “whether she’s single, engaged, married, dating a girl or a guy.”
While Kardashian’s divorce is the highlight of every conversation piece in Hollywoood today, her money making racket is not going away anytime soon. As long as Kardashian is willing to strut her buxom body and booty all at the same time, institutes will continue to douse her with big paybacks.
The fairytale wedding explosion may be coming to an end, but Kardashian stands to reap the benifits long after its all over.
According to an expert, if kardashian plays her cards well, (and she’s been hitting the jackpot darn well so far) she can reap from her single status once again, make millions by selling her divorce story, (way to go Kim) and many other ventures which she is likely to concoct along the way.
Appearance fees are also expected to increase as a single lady once again.
Perhaps Beyonce needs to be invited to Kardashians next public bash, afterall, “I’m a single lady I’m a single lady”
would be so apt for the theme!
