Just a rant of mine with the frustration of the day to day life. But does hard work truly pay off? I write articles and see pennies earned instead of dollars. I build a business and compensate everybody from irregular to regular clients, but yet struggle to continue to grow each year. I pay off debt and do things right, but have to jump through hoops to get credit or refinance a car.
Is it all worth it? Will the hard work ever pay off? Selling things constantly on Craigslist and Ebay and all the while, I see people who don’t do this and they get money from inheritance or marrying “right.” I have been unemployed from the general work force for almost six months because I refused to be away from my family every night in a retail position and haven’t heard a word from any other employer. Where I was once holding out to make enough money to pay for childcare and gas, I now am looking for something to just barely break even. Is it just me?
