Halloween is Celebrated on ‘Dancing with the Stars’; Who Topped the Leader Board?

Ghosts, spiders and really cool costumes filled the dance studio. The songs were all ghost and magic toned. However, underneath all the cool Halloween decorations and costumes, laid one ultimate goal for the dancers: to dance two great dancers and to gain scores high enough to keep you in the competition.

Yes, the dancers, again, had to dance two dances. First, they got to perform one individual Halloween theme dance to show the audience how far they have grown in their dancing skill, now that it is week seven. Then they had to compete in a team dance with the team scores added to their individual scores.

Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy: They performed a Samba. Judge Carrie Ann stated that Hope had a new found ease of moiton. Judge Bruno stated that they had better timing, better placement and a better finish. They scored a 24.

Next came the team dance. The dancers were placed into two groups: Group Tango and Group Paso Doblo. The team scores will then be added to the individual scores.

Group Tango consisted of: J. R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff, David Arquette and Kym Johnson, and Nancy Grace and Triston McManus. Team Tango scored a 23.

Group Paso Doble consisted of: Ricki Lake and Derek Hough, Rob Karashian and Cheryl Burke, Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Team Paso Doble scored a 26.
