‘Dancing with the Stars’ Results Show: Justin Bieber, Boyz II Men Performed, David Arquette Leaves

Justin Bieber needed no introduction as he, along with the brilliant Boyz II Men, performed together on the results show of “Dancing with the Stars” Tuesday night. Bieber was there to promote his Christmas album. From the looks of it he didn’t seem too happy to be on the dance floor stage. Carson Kressley was back as a roving reporter. He was funny as always. Hopefully we will see him next season alongside Tom Bergeron as a new co-host…hint, hint. We were introduced to a remarkable ballet dancer who overcame tremendous odds. Sadly, one of my favorites was eliminated. He was starting to grow on me and now he’s gone.

Justin Bieber

I’m surprised he and his minion of fans would even want to be associated with this show. They probably think it’s just for us old folks. I’ve seen him on an award show and I thought he was horrible live. Then seeing him perform his hit from a movie released months ago “Never Say Never” completely confirmed it for me. Justin Bieber cannot sing. I was truly embarrassed for the kid. He looked very uncomfortable. At one point I thought he forgot the words to the song. It was one big hot mess. Afterwards, when the camera was on him he never looked into it to wave to his fans. Maybe the pressure is getting to him after all.

Carson Kressley

Yeah, one of my favorites came back as a roving reporter. He was asking the craziest questions to males waiting to get inside. There was one guy he was interviewing in the audience; I think it was Jason Biggs, while Carson said he’d be back later. Too bad he was on briefly.

Encore Dance

Obviously the team with the highest score of only “26” would be performing again, Team Paso. It’s kind of silly to have a Halloween dance the day after the holiday. At least we got to see Team Tango in their straitjacket costumes once again.

AT&T Spotlight Performance

Victoria Rose Viren is an accomplished ballet dancer who was later diagnosed with a brain tumor. After her extraordinary recovery she went back to dancing in a stage production of “The Nutcracker.” Now she was performing again on the results show. Tom Bergeron was chatting with her afterwards. Victoria looked so happy to be there, unlike one musical guest star.

Justin Bieber and Boyz II Men

Thankfully the Bieb performed with a trio of guys who can actually sing and harmonize. “Fa la la” is the Christmas song release from Bieber’s newest album “Under the Mistletoe.” It was a bit embarrassing when the song was over Justin kept on singing. You can’t make this stuff up on live TV. By the way one of the most memorable performances on a results show from a celebrity dancer came from none other than J.R. Brooke asked him a question and J.R. broke out his finest Justin Bieber imitation by singing a little bit of “Never Say Never.” It was so random, spontaneous and spot on it sounded better than the real thing.

Nancy Grace and Rob were up first with Nancy being in the legitimate bottom two this time around. Need I say Ricki and J.R. were up next and were both safe. Last up was David and Hope with David being in the bottom two. I thought for certain it would be Nancy Grace going home as she had by far the lowest score. Needless to say this is reality TV and it tends to defy logic when you least expect it.

Sadly, David Arquette was the one eliminated. At first I was not crazy about him on the show. Then a few weeks ago he grew on me since 80s Week. I will miss his zany, unpredictable humor. Why are all the funny guys leaving? David sure takes after his grandfather, Charlie Weaver, a.k.a. Cliff Arquette, who was a regular on the original “Hollywood Squares.” I loved when he said “This has to be a mistake!” This is my show!” What a perfect way to leave mocking Maks’ infamous speech. Next week is the Insta-Dance and a special tribute to Michael Jackson on the results show. It will also be Dance Center. Please let Carson be on it!
