This is a nice recipe for using up your leftover Thanksgiving Turkey. If you head outdoors to decorate your house it is nice to have a hot steaming bowl of soup waiting for you in the crock pot when you come in.

Crock Pot Turkey Soup

1 large onion diced
1 green pepper diced
1 carrot cut into round slices
1/2 cup of celery cut in to small pieces
1 cup of canned mushrooms
1 pound of left over turkey shredded up (or what ever you have left)
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon oregeno
1/4 teaspoon basil
3 Chicken Bouillon cubes
3 cups boiling water
1 cup tomato sauce

Simply add all of the ingredients to the slow cook and cook on a low setting for about 6 hours.

If you want to add noodles or rice add an additional cup and 1/2 of water for each cup of uncooked noodles or rice.
