Bethenny Frankel shot to fame on Bravo’s “The real housewives of New York City.” Before that, she was runner up on Martha Stewart’s version of “The Apprentice.” After three seasons on RHONYC, she moved on. She was given her own spinoff series called, “Bethenny getting married?”, followed by a second season, “Bethenny ever after.”

TV roles are what gave Bethenny recognition, but TV fame alone will not guarantee success. What sets Bethenney apart from other reality stars is her personality, her expertise, her ideas, and her ambition. Bethenny is a natural foods chef who studied at the National Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary arts. She has a passion for low- cal cooking and healthy living, and has been featured in many magazines and on television segments. She also has a website where she connects with fans and shares her advise and expertise.

Bethenny is also an author and entrepreneur. She has written several bestselling books dealing with health, nutrition and lifestyle. She has also had other business endeavors prior to her television success. But what has given her the most success to date has been the skinny girl margarita, a bottled beverage which she has fixed to reduce the caloric content of a traditional cocktail. She also makes a skinnygirl sangria. Bethenny sold Skinnygirl cocktails to Beam Global in early 2011, but still has some involvement. The deal was worth $120 million, which placed Bethenny on the forbes list of most powerful celebrities.

The thing that makes Bethenny special is that women can relate to her. She offers advice to women from the standpoint of a friend. She does not hide her flaws, or where she comes from, she puts it all out there. She believes in herself, and is a go getter in a non threatening way. And through her recipes, ideas, advice, televison and business ventures, she is helping other women change their lives in a positive way.

Bethenny is currently living in New York City with her husband Jason Hoppy, and one year old daughter Bryn.
