The premier unbiased match-ups for week 4 are the Okies vs Aggies, the Tide vs Razorbacks and the Tigers vs Mountaineers.

The top 3 finishers from last year have all lost a game in 2011. At least they had their shot so far and they can work their way back into the unbiased rankings if the teams they lost to get 2 losses (Clemson, LSU, Baylor). Looking at the polls as linked above at the top, Oregon, Florida St, TCU and Michigan St have already worked their way into the pageant rankings so as long as coaches and writers keep the popular vote active.

The Top 15 in the Unbiased Rankings have kept their order unless they played DII schools or did not play which would lose them a spot or two. You can see already that Wisconsin will lose at least a spot for playing South Dakota this week.

The other 2011 undefeated schools are ranked based on their final 2010 record until other teams ahead of them lose or they play higher ranked teams. This means Wyoming and Vanderbilt have the best chance to move into the Top 15 by beating the Cornhuskers and Gamecocks. If a lower ranked team beats a higher ranked team, they should trade places in the rankings barring any prior year losses to teams in the current rankings.

A couple other match-ups that will further reduce the undefeated teams are North Carolia vs Georgia Tech, Michigan vs San Diego St and Iowa St vs Texas.
