Why Do People Still Buy Macs?

I don’t understand. I simply cannot understand why reasonably intelligent people buy Macs. Let’s take a look at a mac side by side a pc. You can get an 8 core Mac Pro for $3,499.00. At Cyberpower, you can buy an 8 core pc with 8 gigs of ram instead of 6, twice the hard drive space, for roughly $1,400. Where is that $2,000 going? I have yet to figure this out. Is the operating system worth 2,000 dollars? I don’t think so. Is the design worth 2,000 dollars? No.

Not to mention you can buy a pc and run a mac operating system on it. If you need proof, look here: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-install-mac-os-x-on-a-pc-without-using-a-mac/. Macs simply charge too much and get away with it because people don’t understand computers. Many say that Windows crash. Sure, over time, windows may crash if you’re not running it perfectly. (And let’s be honest, nobody does.) But does that warrant 2,000 dollars in markup? No. For that you can buy a new pc each time it crashes and have backup pcs just for fun. Macs also cannot run the same programs windows can. They have far less program availability. You cannot play many games on them. Yes, they have some great tools with their operating system, but again, you can put that on any modern pc. Is it the style? Pc users would laugh at this as the amount and variety of pc cases is unimaginable. So somebody please tell me what the appeal of the Mac is. I really want to know. Send me a message or comment.
