How do you do it?

It is surprisingly simple and only takes about 30 minutes. That is assuming you have already scrapped all the seeds out of the pumpkin.

Rinse the seeds in cold water and remove any strings or pulp left from the pumpkin. (It is best to do this when the pulp is wet, MUCH easier!) Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Put the seeds on a baking sheet in a single layer and spray with non stick cooking spray. Bake for 10 minutes and stir them up. Then bake for 15 more minutes.

Voila! Dry and Roasted Pumpkin Seeds.

Now you can do all sorts of fun things with them. Use them to play a Halloween version of Bingo. Place them in your sensory table. Use them to create fall I-Spy bottles. The dry pumpkin seeds can be used throughout the entire fall season.
