Throws and Takedowns of Jujitsu

In this article I will be writing about throwing and take down tactics of Jujitsu. Now I am not going to give all the throwing and take down techniques of jujitsu. I am going to give a few though probably around seven to nine throws and or take downs. Now this article and other articles like this that I write are only for informational purposes and not meant to be a teaching article. I do not assume any liability if you practice any of the techniques in this article or any article and get hurt.

The first throw that we are going to talk about is the Drop Knee Throw. It is kind of a simple throw really but it has a devastating effect on a person. First to do the Drop Knee Throw grab both of your opponents arms. Next turn your body and put one leg across the opponents opposite knee. Keeping that knee bent somewhat drop down on the other knee. Now pull the opponent down while turning on the other knee until the opponent is on the ground.

Now for the second throw I am going to write about is the Neck Throw. Now to do the Neck Throw you start off like you are going to do a hip throw. Although instead of grabbing one arm and putting the other arm around the hip, you put the arm around the head and put your hip in to his waist. Then you turn throwing the opponent over your hip to the ground.

For this next throw I am writing about is the Traditional Shoulder Throw. Now to do this one you grab your opponents arm. Then you slide your throwing shoulder under his armpit. Next you put your hips into his hips. Now while you are doing that you bend your knees. Next you straighten your legs. While you are straightening your legs you pull your opponent over your shoulder until they hit the ground.

Now for this one we are going to do a take down. This one is the jujitsu way of doing a double leg take down. To do this one you first start off by getting under the opponents arm. Next you wrap your right arm around his hip grabbing the waist of the pants, while using your left arm to grab the back of the right knee. Next you stand up while swinging the person forward and down so that there back and head slam on to the ground.

Now for this next one we are going to do the Hip Flip. To do the Hip Flip you first put your hips into your opponents hips. Next you right arm around the opponents right hip grabbing the waist of his pants. Next you bend your knees and use your left arm to grab the opponents left leg. Next you stand up while pick the person up. Now step forward with your left leg while turning your body. Now all you do is drop your opponent on to the ground.

Now for the sixth throw I am going to write about is the Ankle Throw. Now to do this throw start off by bending your knees. Next either grab your opponents pant legs or behind the ankles. Next what you do is stand up while pulling on the the pant legs or ankles. Therefore causing the person to fall on to there back and head.

Now for this throw I am going to write about is the Back Drop Throw. First you start off by grabing your opponents arm. Next you bend your knees while putting your body under the arm that you grabbed. Now place your other arm between his legs. Next you lift the person off of the ground. Next you drop straight back dropping your opponent on his face.

Now for this eighth throw I am going to write about is the Arm Twist Drop shoulder Throw. Now to do this throw requires speed. Start off by grabbing opponents wrist with both hands. Next what you do is you twist the arm while you moving your body underneath the arm. Next what you is drop down on one knee, while pulling forward and down on the opponent until they are on the ground.

Now for this last throw I am going to talk about is the Leg Twist Throw. This throw is done if some one is kicking you. To do this throw is catch the kicking leg. Then what you do is wrap one arm behind the knee and the other arm is in front of the knee. Then what you do is you twist the leg while you are twisting the body and dropping down to one knee. You do this until the opponent is on the ground.

In conclusion I would like to once again state that this is just and informational article. Not a teaching article. Therefore I the writer of this article or any article like this assumes no responsibility or liability of injury if you choose to practice the techniques in this article. I hope that you enjoy this article and hope that you find this article informational.
