Vampires indigenous to the African continent have no bones. Entirely cartilaginous like sharks, they are light, nimble and extremely flexible. These veldt and bush predators can stretch and swell to massive girth or serpentine length. This elasticity helps them swiftly enter or exit any tree, crag, hole, or burrow to avoid the glaring savanna sunlight.
